Further Apocrypha excerpt

Excerpt from my upcoming edition"Further Apocrypha" by Ray DiPalma. This 5-hole pamphlet contains the title poem and an image printed on Zerkall Nideggen paper with Hahnemuhle Bugra cover.

Azusa: a sequel

This edition of 25 standard and 5 deluxe copies was designed, printed and bound by Rebecca Chamlee of Pie In The Sky Press. It was printed on a Vandercook 4 hand-operated flatbed cylinder press on Rives Heavyweight paper. The wood type is from the collections of Pie In The Sky Press and Otis Laboratory Press. The text is digitally set Seria Sans printed from photo-polymer plates. The standard copies shown here are sewn on ramie tapes with printed endsheets, rolled goat leather endbands, cloth Bradel case binding with a printed, inset label. 2009

Further Apocrypha

My next project is a collaboration with poet Ray Dipalma called "Further Apocrypha". This is the first dummy, a quarter leather case with my paste paper covering the boards. A printed label of one of Ray's images is inset on the cover.

Sewing Azusa

Here is "Azusa: a sequel" in process. Paul Vangelisti, whose poem is featured in the book, thought this picture looked like baby books in a crib.

The Young Manhood of Dave Chamlee wood covers

This is the same book but with wooden board covers.

The Young Manhood of Dave Chamlee

Recently, I produced a book about my great grandfather told by my father in a Humanities term paper he wrote when he attended Claremont Men’s College in the ‘50s. The book is a simplified binding with kangaroo leather spine and paste paper covered boards.

From the series "Seven Deadly Sins," "Vanity" is an edition is 25 letterpress printed hard cover accordians
